SENIOR PASTOR
Rev. Wes Lauver
Wes was born and raised in South Florida where he graduated with an M.Div from Knox Theological Seminary and served as the senior pastor of Cornerstone Church PCA for three years. Currently, he is working towards his D.Min in church vitality at Birmingham Theological Seminary.Wes is married to Cayleigh and together they have three daughters, Savannah, Sophie, & Selah. Wes was installed as the senior pastor of First Presbyterian on August 7, 2022. He has served in the Presbyterian Church in America for 10 years.
YOUTH & FAMILIES INTERN
John Williams
John has been a member in the PCA for over 20 years serving in various capacities during that time. He last served as a youth director in Florida before moving back to his home state of Mississippi. John is working towards his M.Div at Greenville Theological Seminary. He is married to Sara and they have one Son, Owen.
PASTOR EMERITUS
REv. Robert Lane
Rev. Lane graduated from Reformed Theological Seminary and has faithfully shepherded the flock at First Presbyterian Church for over 20 years! He was called as Pastor Emeritus on October 30, 2022. Bob is married to Kay and together they have one son and two grandchildren.
